Along with the change in season, spring has brought to the Tower Club a very noticeable upgrade. Breakfast now includes more and healthier options on the buffet, along with weekly tableside specials all for $8.95++ for members ($13.50++ for guests). There is an option to join the Tower Club Breakfast Club for only $75++. Members have unlimited access to both the buffet and tableside specials as well as the ability to treat their guests for the member price. Our cover photo is courtesy of Jake McGuire. Jake is an acclaimed Washingtonian photographer and will be the third artist to contribute to the newly established Tower Club Art Series. For more details on the Tower Club Art Series and information on the Charity Club Classic, see page 8. An exciting and unique partnership was forged in 2014. National Geographic has agreed to contribute to the Club's programming efforts by bringing a customized outreach program to the Tower Club Members. The first event of the series was "Women of Vision" featuring a presentation by Jodi Cobb, an award-winning National Geographic photographer. The second program features three explorers and conservationists working in Africa and leading the Big Cats Initiative. The program takes place on April 8th. Corporate executives have hailed the Tower Club programming as one of the best in the ClubCorp network. With that said, the 2 nd quarter of the year is action packed with something for everyone. Attending events and getting involved are key ways to become acclimated to the Club and get the most out of your membership. A recent comment from a Tower Club member was that they had been members for over a year and hadn't been using the Club the way they had anticipated. However, the Matthew Johnston Art Exhibit piqued their interest and upon attending they thanked the Club for the culturally stimulating event. The following week, the member attended the monthly "Women and Wine social for the first time.
